Rituals and Routines- At the start of every class I shall ask my students to do the bell ringer with multiply math problem to solve, which I have written on the board before they came into the classroom. Once they all have started I shall hand back any papers that need to be handed back. After that is done I’ll pick a few students to go answer the bell ringer on the white board in the front of the classroom. Once they are finished I shall correct, if needed, any problems using the students in the classroom. Then I’ll start the lesson, giving time for the students to ask questions and time during the end of class to start their homework.

Instructional Glimpse- My typical lesson shall consist of showing my students how to first do the math problems, and why we are able to do the problem this way. Then give them examples of the problems and allow them to follow along as I do them on the board, or move ahead of me if they feel they can. The problems will start from easy and moving up in difficulty and they advance.

Technology integration- Technology will only be used in the classroom, the students will not be asked to visit any material online, just the ones in class. There will be a smartboard in the front of the class that I will use from time to time, computers around the class for the students to group up and research problems from time to time.

PLN- The more and more I use the smartboard, the more I shall use it during my class. I know the basics to using a smartboard now, but I would like to learn how to use the more advanced ways I could use it.
